A release date has been announced for John Farnham: Finding the Voice.
The doco-film will hit Australian cinemas on 27 April 2023.
It is being promoted as “a feature documentary about John Farnham’s life and career, his journey to find an artistic voice and become one of Australia’s most beloved performers.”
Director Poppy Stockwell told the Herald Sun in July 2021 that the film will trace the singer’s life from teen idol and a stint as Little River Band frontman, to tough times and a stellar comeback.
“He’s had an epic, epic life,” Stockell said. “The more I dive into his story, the more I discovered what a hero’s tale it is.”
