Mr America was written and recorded by Russell Morris and was his third top ten single. The Real Thing was written by Johnny Young, Part Three Into Paper Walls was co-written by Young and Morris and Rachel (which didn’t reach the top ten) was written by Raymond Froggatt. Mr America was totally Morris’s own composition and other original songs would follow.
