The song’s title Albert Flasher came from Burton Cummings seeing a button labelled “alert flasher” on a radio broadcast console. Cummings combined lyrics inspired by that phrase with a piano riff which he used to warm up with, to make the finished song.

Wikipedia – The Guess Who:
The Guess Who was a Canadian rock band formed in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1965. The band found their greatest success in the late 1960s and early 1970s, under the leadership of singer/keyboardist Burton Cummings and guitarist Randy Bachman.

Diesel fixed me, what a weasel
And baby was a workshop owner
Baby was a workshop owner
