Wikipedia:
After moving from the United Kingdom and working for the NSW Department of Main Roads, Ted Mulry sent a demo tape of his own compositions to Albert Productions in Sydney. He intended to gain work as a songwriter but the company persuaded him to release his own recordings. He gained notice as a solo singer-songwriter with his pop ballad, Julia. Then his next single, Falling in Love Again, was written by Harry Vanda and George Young.
Mulry released his debut solo album, Falling in Love Again, in 1971. The self-penned single Memories was on this album. After a short time in the UK he returned to write songs for other artists and record more of his own.

Lyrics:

But now that winter’s over I sit alone and wonder
Oh what are these things now to me, just memories
