Wikipedia:
Born in New Zealand, Allison Durbin is known for her success in the late 1960s and 1970s as Australia’s “Queen of Pop”, winning ‘Best Female Artist’ in the King of Pop Awards in 1969, ’70 and ’71. Put Your Hand in the Hand was her biggest hit on the Australian singles charts. Allison’s visual trademark at that time was her lustrous waist-length auburn hair.
During the 1970s, as Allison’s career waned, she began using heroin and her marriage to record producer Howard Gable ended. In 1985, she publicly acknowledged her battle with drugs and sought treatment at Odyssey House, a drug rehabilitation centre in Melbourne.

Lyrics:
Put your hand in the hand of the man who stilled the water
Put your hand in the hand of the man who calmed the sea
Take a look at yourself and you can look at others differently
Put your hand in the hand of the man from Galilee
