Wikipedia:
The Fugitive Kind is the debut single by Mondo Rock, released in September 1978. The song appears as a bonus track on a later re-release of their debut studio album Primal Park.
Mondo Rock was formed at the end of 1976 by singer-songwriter Ross Wilson following the split of his previous band Daddy Cool.
At the time of this debut single in 1978, the lineup was Ross Wilson (lead vocals and harmonica), Peter Laffy (guitar), Randy Bulpin (guitars), Tony Slavich (keyboards), Simon Gyllies (bass) and Iain McLennan (drums).
Guitarist Eric McCusker joined Mondo Rock in 1980. From that time he wrote many of the band’s hits and, along with Wilson, formed the core of the group.
