The Pied Piper is the biggest of seven singles by British singer Crispian St Peters to chart in Australia. It followed the release of You Were On My Mind, his first single to chart in this country.

Crispian St Peters was born Robin Peter Smith and worked at first for various small local bands. An EMI publicist picked him up for the Decca Records label, for whom he had moderate success for the rest of the 1960s.
