John St Peeters (Johnny Lo Piccolo) provided the lead vocals on Wonder World, the theme for a children’s TV variety series Simon Townsend’s Wonder World, that ran from 1979 to 1987 (Network 10). John performed on Countdown a number of times, and co-hosted an episode in June 1978. John was also a guest host on another pop music show, Sounds (Seven). He was also the host of The John St Peeters Show in 1984 (SBS).
Wonder World is one of six singles by John to chart in the Top 100.
