Songfacts:
Written entirely by Steve Miller, this catchy pop song with mild sexual innuendo contains lyrics of the simplistic “June moon spoon” variety. Yes, the man who once spoke of the pompatus of love was now rhyming “abracadabra” with “reach out and grab ya”. It’s certainly not the song that got Miller into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016, but Abracadabra was a huge hit nonetheless.

You got me spinning
‘Round and ’round
‘Round and ’round and ’round it goes
Where it stops nobody knows
