History of Australian Music:
The Iguana was a Melbourne group that formed from the Sands of Time and The Contours in 1967. They had four singles, plus an EP that combined two of their 45s. Their first single, Imagine This, was produced by Pat Aulton on Festival’s four track. Their second single was a great version of The Fifth Dimension’s California My Way which made the top ten in Melbourne, and nationally at #36. The band toured throughout Victoria and interstate and appeared on TV.
