Half Heaven – Half Heartache is one of five singles released from Gene Pitney’s second album, Only Love Can Break a Heart in 1962. It also included Only Love Can Break a Heart and (The Man Who Shot) Liberty Valance, which was written for, but not ultimately used in, the film of the same name. Other singles from the album were True Love Never Runs Smooth and If I Didn’t Have a Dime.
