Wikipedia:
Please Please Me is the debut studio album by The Beatles, produced by George Martin and released in the UK in March 1963 on EMI’s Parlophone label. The album contains a mixture of cover songs and original material written by the Lennon-McCartney partnership.
Love Me Do was The Beatles’ debut single in the UK, but wasn’t released in Australia until this double-A-side single with I Saw Her Standing There a year later.
Love Me Do was written several years before being recorded, and prior to the existence of the Beatles. It features John Lennon’s prominent harmonica playing and duet vocals by him and Paul McCartney.
