Orchestra Ladies was one of two singles to be released from Ross Ryan’s album My Name Means Horse, the other being I Am Pegasus.
My Name Means Horse was Ryan’s most successful album, being certified triple gold, and winning Most Popular Australian Album at the 1974 TV Week King of Pop Awards. In the same year, Ryan represented Australia at Expo ’74 in Spokane, Washington, with Judy Stone and Rolf Harris.
