Wikipedia:
Sérgio Mendes was a Brazilian musician, whose career took off with worldwide hits by his band Brasil ’66. He had more than 55 releases and was known for playing bossa nova, often crossed with funk.
The fourth studio album by Sérgio Mendes and Brasil ’66, Fool on the Hill, was the first one to feature the second edition of Brasil ’66. Mendes replaced all of the original band members, with the exception of lead singer Lani Hall. This is also the first appearance of Gracinha Leporace, who he later married, on a Sérgio Mendes album. The 1968 album features two top 10 pop singles, the title track and Scarborough Fair.
