Wikipedia:
Slipstream by Sherbet is the second single from their third studio album Slipstream, released in 1974. The song was written by Garth Porter and Clive Shakespeare who were members of the band’s classic lineup which also included Daryl Braithwaite, Tony Mitchell and Alan Sandow. The band were the darlings of Australia’s teenyboppers: for six years in a row, from 1973 to 1978, they were voted ‘Most Popular Australian Group’ by readers of TV Week for their King of Pop Awards.

Lyrics:
I know a place where the weather is fine
Plenty of space and plenty of time
With you by my side
Like birds we will fly
Into the slipstream
Into the slipstream
