As The Sutherland Brothers, their first single to chart was The Pie in 1972, a single from their debut album Sutherland Bros. Band.
From 1973 to 1978, they performed with rock band Quiver, and recorded and toured as Sutherland Brothers & Quiver (this was after The Pie).

Lyrics:
When I say I love you
You just act like I don′t know
Trying hard to prove you’re near me
Always asking if you hear me
Telling me it′s nothing
When you say you’ve got to go
Well, I’m trying to unwind
It′s my loneliness that′s binding me to you.
