Wikipedia:
You’re Sixteen was written by the Sherman Brothers and was first performed by American rockabilly singer Johnny Burnette in 1960.
Ringo Starr’s 1974 version was taken from his album Ringo.
It featured Paul McCartney with a kazoo-sounding vocal noise, Harry Nilsson singing backing vocals and Nicky Hopkins playing piano.
Upon release, a reviewer for Cash Box called Ringo’s version “fantastic and perfect for the ’70s,” going on to say that “not only is the vocal perfect, and steady, for this delightful easy going rocker, but the music is the perfect complement.”
Record World said that the “background vocals by Nilsson add just the right spice.”

Lyrics:
You come on like a dream, peaches and cream
Lips like strawberry wine
You′re sixteen, you’re beautiful
And you′re mine (mine, all mine)
You’re all ribbons and curls
Ooh, what a girl
Eyes that sparkle and shine
You’re sixteen, you′re beautiful and you′re mine
(Mine, all mine, mine, mine)
