Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page has five kids. The oldest two are Scarlet Page, born in 1971 with partner Charlotte Martin, and James Patrick Page III, born in 1988 with wife Patricia Ecker.
Scarlet Page has carved out a highly successful career as an internationally acclaimed music and portrait photographer. Over a career spanning more than 30 years, she has stepped completely out of her father’s shadow to build a formidable reputation entirely on her own terms.
Known for her raw, documentary-style reportage and intimate fly-on-the-wall backstage photography, Scarlet has shot some of the biggest icons in rock and pop history during her 30-year career. Among them are David Bowie, Amy Winehouse, the Foo Fighters, Oasis, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Black Sabbath.
One of her most notable personal projects is Resonators, a massive two-year global quest where she photographed the world’s greatest guitar heroes alongside their instruments. The project culminated in a successful crowd-funded book and multiple exhibitions.
Born in 1988, James Patrick Page III (often referred to by fans as James Page Jr or Jimmy Page Jr) is the only child from Jimmy’s marriage to American model and waitress Patricia Ecker. While he has largely maintained a deeply private personal life, he has quietly established a career for himself behind the scenes in the entertainment industry.
Rather than stepping onstage, James works behind the camera. He has built a portfolio as an independent film director and producer, working on short films and music-centric video projects like Secession Path (2008), Streetcar (2011), and Duet (2012).
Jimmy Page was notoriously protective of James’s privacy growing up to ensure he had as normal a childhood as possible, despite the massive Led Zeppelin legacy. Over the years, the two have shared a very close, affectionate bond and James has occasionally stepped out to support his father at special events.
Later, during his marriage to Jimena Gómez-Paratcha, Jimmy adopted her daughter Jana Page, and the couple together brought Zofia Jade Page into the world in 1997 and Ashen Josan Page in 1999.
