Wikipedia:
Theme of Exodus was composed and originally performed by Ernest Gold. It is the main theme song to Otto Preminger’s epic film Exodus, based on the 1958 novel of the same name by Leon Uris.
A slightly re-titled version called Theme from Exodus by American pianists Arthur Ferrante and Louis Teicher charted in Australia. The pair was known for their clever arrangements of familiar classical pieces, movie soundtracks, and show tunes, as well as their signature style of florid, intricate, and fast-paced piano playing performances.
The pair met while studying at the Juilliard School of Music in New York in 1930. Musical prodigies, they began performing as a piano duo while still in school. After graduating, they joined the Juilliard faculty.
