The Hollies had a number one hit in Australia and New Zealand with Too Young To Be Married but the song never made it to their greatest hits compilations.
Founding member Bobby Elliott explained to Noise11.com, “You guys down there were very kind to us. EMI Australia spotted it and its potential. It was a number one record down there and in New Zealand. Tony Hicks wrote that, my co-member, it should be on the hits album but it wasn’t a hit in the UK so that’s maybe why it isn’t on the albums. We’ll be doing it on stage, we always do when we are in Oz.”
Too Young To Be Married was only released as a single in Australia and New Zealand.
