Wikipedia – Under the Boardwalk:
Under the Boardwalk was written by Kenny Young and Arthur Resnick and was first recorded by the Drifters in 1964. Their version peaked at #62 in Australia.
The most successful version in this country was by The Rolling Stones, going all the way to #1. The Stones version was released as a single only in Australia, South Africa and Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe).
A version by Bette Midler in 1989 reached #27 in Australia.
The lyric describes a tryst between a man and his beloved in a seaside town, who plan to privately meet “out of the sun” and out of sight from everyone else under a boardwalk.

Wikipedia – Walking the Dog:
Walking the Dog was written and first performed in 1964 by Rufus Thomas, and recorded several months later by The Rolling Stones.
Unlike most Stones’ recordings, the song features harmony vocals on the chorus solely by Brian Jones (most early Stones songs feature Jones and Bill Wyman on backing vocals, with Keith Richards replacing the two not long after), which makes their recording of the song unique in their catalogue.
