Here For The Beer was released on 11 May 2026, the 65th anniversary of the release of Johnny’s debut single, That’s How It’s Gonna Be/Hokey Pokey (Johnny Chester with The Thunderbirds, W&G). At the time of release of Here For The Beer, Johnny was 84 years old and Normie was 79. Normie’s first single was It Ain’t Necessarily So (Normie Rowe and The Playboys, Sunshine) in April 1965.
